MSQ FUNDING | Queensland manufacturers can now access subsidised high-risk work training for employees through the Manufacturing Skills Queensland (MSQ) High Risk Training & Licensing program, with a $300 co-contribution to the cost of enrolment.
This program is funded by Manufacturing Skills Queensland.
If you’ve got staff who need high-risk licensing to safely perform their role, this program can help you get the right training sorted quickly and correctly.
What training is covered?
Funding supports nationally recognised training in priority areas including:
- RIIWHS202E: Enter & Work in Confined Spaces (You Pay $35)
- RIIWHS204E: Work Safely at Heights ( You Pay $35)
- RIIHAN301E: Operate elevating work platform ( You Pay $345)
- TLILIC0003: Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck ( You Pay $395)
- CPCCLDG3001: Licence to perform dogging ( You Pay $1225)
- CPCCLRG3001: Licence to perform rigging basic level (You Pay $1695)
- TLILIC0005 Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more) (You Pay $395)
- CPCCLRG3002 Licence to perform rigging intermediate level (You Pay $1695)
- TLILIC0023 Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes) (You Pay $1995)
- Other high-risk training/licensing may be subsidised where required for the business
Who is eligible?
Business eligibility
The program is available to Queensland manufacturing businesses with fewer than 200 employees.
Manufacturing covers a wide range of capabilities (including food & beverage, engineering, chemicals, timber/wood, renewables/low carbon, medical technology, plastics/rubber and more).
Participant eligibility
Participants must be:
- Employees of eligible QLD manufacturing businesses (<200 employees)
- Permanent Queensland residents
- Australian citizens or permanent residents
- Eligible for one subsidy per employee
