- Prime movers with an attached single semi-trailer
- Heavy Rigid (HR class) vehicles with an attached trailer that has a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) exceeding 9,000 kg
HC truck drivers typically find work in construction, agriculture, and warehousing sectors.

After successfully completing our HC licence training, you will obtain the necessary license to operate a heavy combination vehicle weighing 9 tonnes GVM or more, equipped with 3 or more axles.

ENTRY Requirements
To apply for a HC class licence, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must have held both a Car (C class) licence for at least 3 years and a Medium Rigid (MR class) or HR class licence for at least 1 year.
- This period must have occurred in the last 5 years. Can be continuous or made up of different individual lengths of time (excluding any time that your licence was suspended, surrendered, cancelled or expired).
- Payment test booking fee to the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
- Heavy Vehicle Knowledge test.
- Pass a QLD Transport Practical Test.

Potential wages could be in the region of $80,000 to $100,000 per year or around $55 per hour

Captain Marvel
HC Road Ranger or Synchromesh – Package – $1650 + $64.94 booking fee
- 9 Hours Practical Driving
- Transport and Main Road practical test
- Additional Qld booking fee
- Any additional practical training $155 per hour
- Courses run Monday to Friday between 7.00am and 4.30pm
Breakdown
- 1x 2hr lesson
- 2 x 3hr lesson
- 1hr prior to test

- Offers total flexibility based on individual needs. Book lessons over a few weeks leading to a test time that suits your schedule.
- 2 or more hours at a time
