What is Manufacturing Skills Queensland (MSQ) High Risk Training & Licensing Funding?

And how does it work?

Queensland manufacturers can access subsidised high-risk work training for employees through the Manufacturing Skills Queensland (MSQ) High Risk Training & Licensing program, with a $300 co-contribution to the cost of enrolment. You pay the course price minus the $300 that MSQ covers.

This program is funded by Manufacturing Skills Queensland.

Funding Eligibility

Business eligibility

  • This funding is available to Queensland manufacturing businesses with fewer than 200 employees.
  • Manufacturing capabilities include (but aren’t limited to) food and beverage, engineering, chemicals, timber and wood, renewables/low carbon, medical technology, plastics/rubber, and more.

Participant eligibility

Participants must be:

  • Employees of eligible Queensland manufacturing businesses (<200 employees)
  • Permanent Queensland residents
  • Australian citizens or permanent residents
  • Eligible for one subsidy per employee
