About Us: Apprenticeships Queensland have 3 Under Body Automotive Traineeships available with one of our host at their brand new state of the art work shop in Crestmead.

This Traineeship has the potential to move onto a Light Vehicle Apprenticeship on completion of Certificate II Automotive Traineeship.

Job Description: Are you passionate about cars and eager to kickstart your career in the automotive industry? Join our team as a Certificate II Automotive Trainee! This traineeship offers hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and the opportunity to gain a nationally recognized qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Learn to use automotive tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform basic automotive tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.

Requirements:

• MINIMUM P1 MANUAL DRIVERS LICENCE 
• Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Basic understanding of automotive systems
