As part of the continued growth of current and future works, Rob Carr Pty Ltd requires experienced Boilermaker/Welders to join the team.

About the role:

The primary objective of this position is to perform servicing, welding, repair, and maintenance on Tunnel Boring Machines to support and enable efficient and profitable contract delivery.

The role:

  • Repair and upkeep of Tunnel Boring Machines
  • Performing welding duties
  • Undertake replacement of parts
  • Plenty of overtime available

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, qualifications and/or experience:

  • Trade qualified
  • Previous MIG experience
  • Gouging experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Versatile, self-motivated and team oriented
  • Commitment to safety within the workplace
