Are you passionate about carpentry and eager to start your career? Apprenticeships Queensland is looking for a dedicated junior Carpentry Apprentice to join the team. Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply!

Essential Criteria:

• Transport: Must have a car and a Minimum P1 Licence
• Physical Fitness: Ability to undertake manual labor for extended periods.
• Interest in Carpentry: Genuine interest in the trade.
• Safety Awareness: Be a safe and confident worker.
• Willingness to Travel: Must be willing to travel to various sites.
• White Card: Must have or be willing to obtain a White Card before starting.
• Education: Minimum of Year 10 schooling.

Role Description:

• Carpentry Tasks: Perform tasks related to building, construction, and joinery under supervision.
• Tool Use: Use carpentry tools and equipment.
• Demolition Work: Carry out general demolition of minor building structures.
• Plan Reading: Read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Safety Compliance: Apply Workplace Health & Safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
