About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Carpentry Apprentice to join one of our valued host employers. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience and knowledge from skilled tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use carpentry tools and equipment
• Perform general demolition of minor building structures
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings for carpentry work
• Apply Workplace Health & Safety requirements, policies, and procedures in the construction industry

Essential Criteria:

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
• Genuine interest in the carpentry trade
• Safe and confident work practices
• Willingness to travel
• White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)
• Must have a car and a valid driver’s license
• Minimum of Year 10 schooling
