A big part of the role is:
-Providing quality training with our students
-Delivering competency based assessments, both class based, and online
The students look to their Educator as a role-model and a mentor. In order to live up to your students as their trainer, you will be a great communicator and have some spark about you to ensure you can deliver the course information in a dynamic and engaging manner. You will enjoy problem solving and dealing with diverse people.
Successful trainers know that planning is absolutely critical when it comes to running A+ courses and we are sure you will tick the correct boxes for time management skills and having an eye for detail; And there are bonus points for having the ability to put the student at ease and nurture their learning. It will be crucial that you will be able to empower students to unlock their potential and build their confidence, skills and knowledge required to deal with the diverse challenges that this industry provides.
Clearly the role is not textbook and is much more in depth than just teaching and testing but we won’t bore you with an essay!
So you have the skills, great! But do you have the qualifications? For this role you will need to have:
- UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
- UEE22011 Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) would be an advantage
- 4 years min demonstrated Industry work history
- Cert IV TAE40116
- Telecommunications & Solar experience would be an advantage
