Confined Spaces Training

The “Enter and Work in Confined Spaces” qualification equips individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely enter and work within confined spaces while adhering to strict safety protocols. Completing this training demonstrates proficiency in understanding potential hazards, using appropriate equipment, and following safety procedures in confined environments. This qualification is essential for roles that involve working in spaces with limited entry and exit points.

Possible Roles

Construction Worker: Construction sites often involve confined spaces such as trenches, shafts, and tunnels. Graduates can safely enter and perform tasks in these spaces, contributing to various construction projects.

Utilities Worker: Professionals working in utilities like water and wastewater treatment facilities may need to enter confined spaces for maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.

Industrial Inspectors: Inspectors responsible for checking equipment or structures in confined spaces, such as tanks or pipelines, require training to ensure their safety during inspections.

Maintenance Technician: Technicians who maintain equipment located in confined spaces, such as HVAC systems or industrial machinery, require the knowledge and skills to enter and work safely within these environments.

Mining and Resources Worker: Within the mining and resources industry, workers often encounter confined spaces in underground mines or processing facilities. Proper training is crucial to safely navigate and work in these environments.

Emergency Rescue Team Member: Individuals on emergency rescue teams must be trained to enter confined spaces to rescue workers in case of emergencies. Proper training is vital to ensure the safety of both the rescuer and the rescued.

Potential wages could be in the region of $55,000 to $68,000 per year

Awesome!! After coming from TAFE the training is so much better.
Awesome!! After coming from TAFE the training is so much better. Smaller classes better and more knowledgeable teachers who care about the students and more flexible learning (being able to do most of the work from home). TAFE felt like it was just there to keep apprentices there for as long as possible (spending 8 hours to do 2 hours of work) but here it’s all based around the student, come in for the morning to to finish up units then go back to work for the rest of the day.

Would definitely recommend to others
The staff were very friendly, trainer Carl made it very easy to learn what was needed and helped when I was struggling. Crane operator pat was very kind and made it easy to do the lifts. Amazing operator. Would definitely recommend to others and will be coming back to learn other skills. 👍
