It’s designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to enter, work in, and exit confined spaces – exactly what workers need to operate safely in high-risk work environments.
Once certified, you’ll receive your confined space ticket and begin performing confined space work legally. And this is especially relevant given the Sunshine Coast’s numerous large-scale projects.

- Be able to read and write basic English (Workplace Health and Safety requirement)
- Pass a language, literacy and numeracy assessment (LLN)
- Minimum 18 years of age (Workplace Health and Safety requirement)
- Provide two forms of identification
- Wear steel-capped or safety boots on site
- Sun protection is also recommended (e.g. hat, long-sleeved shirt and pants).
