Major Training has been approved to deliver funded VET in Schools (VETiS 2026) programs in 2026, one of the many great Queensland Governments initiatives funded through the Department of Trade, Employment and Training (DTET).
This approval allows Major to support eligible secondary school students across Queensland with training that leads directly into employment, apprenticeships, or further study in priority industries.
What Is VETiS?
VETiS (Vocational Education and Training in Schools) allows eligible secondary students to complete one nationally recognised qualifications while still at school with no cost to the student, provided it’s their first VETiS-funded course.
These programs are funded by the Department of Trade, Employment and Training (DTET) and help students gain practical, job-ready skills aligned with real career pathways.
