UEE22020 – Certificate II in Electrotechnology

The UEE22020 Certificate II in Electrotechnology is your first step into an Electrotechnology career path.  This entry-level course will get you prepared for an apprenticeship in a range of electrical trade areas. 

This Certificate II will open the opportunity to enrol in the UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician Apprenticeship. Both the Certificate II and III for Electrotechnology are now available at Major Trainings Morayfield campus.

UEECO0002 Maintain documentation
UEECD0019 Fabricate, assemble and dismantle utilities industry components*
UEECD0020 Fix and secure electrotechnology equipment*
UEERE0001 Apply environemntally and sustainable procedures in the energy sector
UEERL0001 Attach cords and plugs to electrical equipment for connection to a single phase 230 Volt supply* 

Funding 

Funding is available through the JobTrainer Funding Scheme for those who are eligible. The JobTrainer Fund supports job seekers, school leavers and young people to access the skills and training they need to find work, re-enter the labour market or explore new work opportunities available as Queensland’s economy recovers.

*Who is eligible to undertake training under Job Trainer?

  • permanently reside in Queensland, and
  • be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident (includes humanitarian entrant), temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen, and
  • have finished school or no longer be at school (including home schooled), and not already be enrolled in training (includes VET and higher education courses), and
  • not have previously completed a qualification funded under the JobTrainer Fund, and
  • either be a job seeker or a school leaver or young person
