OVERVIEW
You must complete working at heights training in Newcastle and across NSW if your work involves a risk of falling from a height. For compliance and safety, the nationally recognised RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights course is a key requirement for developing the skills and knowledge needed to identify hazards, apply proper measures, and work safely at height.
For employees whose tasks involve elevated environments (like dogmen or electricians), getting trained to work at heights is mandatory. Without proper training, workers are more likely to miss potential hazards, use fall protection equipment incorrectly or fail to follow safe work procedures, increasing risks like falls and serious injuries. Poorly managed worksites where workers lack training can also result in incidents that lead to project delays, high costs for employers, and legal consequences.
By ensuring workers have the right knowledge and practical skills, businesses can create safer work sites. Proper preparation goes a long way, helping make informed decisions, responding to hazards effectively, and performing high-risk tasks with confidence and control. If you’re new to working at heights or need formal training to meet workplace requirements, this course is for you.
