How long does it take to become an electrician in QLD?
It varies, but you’ll typically complete at least 4 years of electrician training, including the foundational Certificate II in Electrotechnology and the apprenticeship Certificate III in Electrotechnology. Once you complete your practical apprenticeship in Queensland and pass the Capstone exams, you can apply for your electrician’s licence. Then, you’re officially an electrician!
